What is Sintered Stone?

Sintered stone is manufactured using technological advancements that simulate the processes which forms natural stone. For the consistency of colour, texture and quality, minerals and stone particles are carefully selected and then subject to extreme heat and pressure. This sintering process enables particles to bond permanently, without the need for resin and bonding agents.

Where can Lapitec® be used?

As Lapitec® is resistant to scratches, heat, stain and even UV rays, the material is suitable to be used at:

What are the finishes available?

Lapitec is available in three finishes at Hafary: Satin, Lux and Vesuvio.

Elegant as silk, Satin is soft to the touch with a silky sheen.

The Lapitec® slabs in the Lux collection have a highly reflective polished finish radiating luminosity. Lux is a mirrored surface which has the unique property of reflecting and enhancing brightness.

Vesuvio is a tactile and smooth yet finely textured surface which provides anti-slip properties.
