Khroma tile collection celebrates the expressive power and natural character of the ancestral material from which everything originates: clay. The design project began from the origins: clay mixed and shaped with water, compressed and left to dry in wooden moulds. The NovaBell research laboratories retraced this ancient technique from original pieces, and used it to form new surfaces with a timeless beauty. The new porcelain surfaces reflect every step in the design process: the finely calculated particle size, the incredible authenticity and the tactile depth.

The Masterpiece tile collection, by Ferruccio Laviani, is a palette that invites interpreters to create completely different results, but with a common thread of character, distinctiveness and creativity underpinning its aesthetic quality and ability to communicate the designer’s vision.

It is durable and resistant, practical and versatile, healthy and safe thanks to its integrated antibacterial Protect® technology, which eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria.

The tile collection is also the recipient of the Archiproducts Design Award and the special mention for sustainability.

Onyx has naturally beautiful translucence with lines of contrasting colours running through it. This unique colour characteristic of the stone distinguish them from other stones.

Nuovocorso designed an innovative production process for porcelain stoneware, improving the raw extrusion technology. That’s nuovocorso extruded porcelain tiles, provided with an amazing cohesion which combines great strength with outstanding flexibility. These physical characteristics guarantee an easy and safe laying, also available in large formats.

Elasticity and flexibility
The Nuovocorso have a unique characteristic whic h distinguishes them from other porcelain tiles: they are extremely flexible and elastic. In order to transmit these properties to the material, clay with elevated plasticity is used, which maintains the physical characteristics unaltered thanks to the cold extrusion process. This is the reason why the plank can bend, not suffering alterations and it remains flat once installed in position; it is in fact its own weight which levels the floor.
