Kair
Kair collection evokes the beauty of the prestigious marbles excavated in the mountains that surround Carrara, Kair in the ancient times, town capital of Italian marble since the Roman Empire. Rich materials that, thanks to a simple and classical elegance, wrote important pages in the history of classic and modern architecture. With craftsmanship and passion for details, Nexion has given to Kair two suggestive surfaces, the super-reflective full lappato and the sober lappato matt.
The result is a collection who speaks of timeless elegance, preciousness and a classical taste in a contemporary aesthetical language.
Bits & Pieces
Design by Gordon Guillaumier.

Gordon Guillaumier has designed the decorative part of this series by taking from the past the graphic subjects to be introduced into the industrial process of Piemme.

In playing with materials and styles, Gordon Guillaumier replaces the marble “tozzetto” with the wood slit, setting it in the backgrounds of the tile.
