THE STORY
SensiTerre tile collection is a surface project that reinterprets the world of clays, blending artisanal tradition with technological innovation. The world of earths and clays is re-explored, reinterpreted, evolving from the artisanal to the architectural dimension, becoming a tool for architects and designers.

Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana thus express their deep admiration for the excellence of ‘Made in Italy’, imparting charm and tactility to traditional ceramics, supported by innovative technology and a meticulous search for expressive purity.

The varied warm colors and textured surfaces of clay, crafted according to ancient processing techniques, define the design measure of the SensiTerre collection.

A process of reflection on the elegance of details where each shade represents a determined and conscious color choice: color as the common thread of a synergy between the memory of traditions and the present of architecture.

Nuovocorso designed an innovative production process for porcelain stoneware, improving the raw extrusion technology. That’s nuovocorso extruded porcelain tiles, provided with an amazing cohesion which combines great strength with outstanding flexibility. These physical characteristics guarantee an easy and safe laying, also available in large formats.

Elasticity and flexibility
The Nuovocorso have a unique characteristic whic h distinguishes them from other porcelain tiles: they are extremely flexible and elastic. In order to transmit these properties to the material, clay with elevated plasticity is used, which maintains the physical characteristics unaltered thanks to the cold extrusion process. This is the reason why the plank can bend, not suffering alterations and it remains flat once installed in position; it is in fact its own weight which levels the floor.
