Special glazes that fuse with red clay during firing give rise to textured walls with unique, detailed surfaces rich in memory. Its palette of deep, intense colors is born from the reaction between glazes and natural oxides, evoking the aesthetics of 1970s ceramics while reinterpreting their dimensions in a modern key.

Starting from carefully selected, rare examples of marble, the colours and veining have been re-interpreted with all of Rex’s technical skill and creativity, and transformed into highly evocative panels of inimitable elegance. The design was conceived to reveal harmonious patterns when the panels are placed next to each other over large surfaces, as do the textures.

Inspired by the settling of sand in cement, the Genova collection features a stratification pattern along the tiles. Each tile is designed to create layers and depth to form beautiful collision when placed together.
